About HappiU and these Terms
HappiU is an online wellbeing service offering digital Experiences, reflections, discoveries and personal tools. These Terms apply when you visit HappiU, create an account, use its features or purchase an Experience. By doing so, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Eligibility and account use
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms where you live. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must have that permission before using HappiU.
Give accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and do not share access to your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without permission.
HappiU Experiences and digital content
HappiU Experiences are digital content for personal use. Their descriptions, duration and included materials are shown before purchase. You may use purchased materials for your own non-commercial wellbeing practice. You may not copy, publish, resell, distribute or commercially exploit HappiU content unless we have given written permission.
Purchases, prices and currencies
Prices and currencies are displayed on HappiU and confirmed again in Stripe Checkout before you complete a purchase. Stripe processes payments. You agree to provide valid payment information and authorise the charge shown at checkout. HappiU does not directly store your full card details.
If a payment is not completed or is later reversed, access connected to that purchase may be delayed, refused or withdrawn as appropriate.
Access to purchased Experiences
After a successful checkout is confirmed, the purchased Experience is added to the account used for the purchase. You need that account to open it and save progress. Access depends on the Experience and service remaining available and on your compliance with these Terms.
Promotional codes and discounts
A promotional code or discount may have its own eligibility rules, expiry date, usage limit or other conditions shown when it is offered. Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined where the checkout does not permit it. A code must be entered and accepted before the purchase is completed.
Refunds and cancellations
HappiU does not set out a separate general refund or cancellation promise in these Terms. Any rights you have under applicable consumer law remain unaffected. If you have a question or believe there is a problem with a purchase, contact us at the address below and include the email used for the purchase.
Your Journal and reflection content
You keep your rights in content you enter. You give HappiU permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide the features you choose, such as saving progress and generating your Journal. You are responsible for the content you add and should not include material that is unlawful or violates another person’s rights.
HappiU intellectual property
HappiU’s name, design, illustrations, writing, Experiences, downloads and other service content are owned by HappiU or used with permission. Except for the limited personal-use permission above, these Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use HappiU for unlawful, harmful or fraudulent activity;
- interfere with the service, its security or another person’s account;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to data, accounts or systems;
- upload malicious code or misuse automated tools; or
- copy, resell or exploit HappiU content beyond the permission in these Terms.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect HappiU, its users or others, or where these Terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
Wellbeing and educational content
HappiU provides general educational and wellbeing content. It is not medical, psychological or mental-health advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you need urgent help or are concerned about your health or safety, contact an appropriate local emergency or professional service.
People respond differently to wellbeing activities. Use your judgement, stop an activity if it does not feel appropriate for you, and seek professional guidance where needed.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep HappiU available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. We may maintain, update, add to, change or remove parts of the service. Where a change materially affects purchased digital content, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice or support.
Responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects rights you have under applicable consumer law. You are responsible for deciding whether HappiU’s general wellbeing content is suitable for you and for keeping copies of Journals you wish to retain.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as HappiU develops or requirements change. The “Last updated” date will show when they were most recently revised. If a change is important, we will provide an appropriate notice. Your continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
